Late Mon. Afternoon

Lunch in small village. Restaurant on both sides of narrow road along basin. Platane trees lining whole plaza. Crappy croque monsieur but the wine wasn't bad. Hard rolls. Mike developing taste for limonade which always costs more than glass of wine. Sightseeing half dozen villages, mostly riverain (residential I think). Beautiful fields, vines of every age and height &  hills/mtns. Wanted to mention public WC/toilettes. BYOTP :) And smell of fermenting wine everywhere. Have seen 6-8 pickups.  I swear we saw Rivière's pickup today (Year in Provence) complete w/boar cages. One small ice tray in fridge. Save for this time of day. Sitting in courtyard enjoying oranges, chocolate & hard rolls. C'est beau la vie!
